I use Blackberry Connect 4.0.0.97 and works fine.
Steps.

1) Softreset (to clean memory).
2) Open Registry Editor to change:HKLM\System\Versions Aku set to .0.4.2 (.1.4.3)
3) Put this Device name: Settings->System->About->HTC_3450 (Universal)
4) Softreset to apply changes correctly.
5) Download and install :

6) The installation makes a softreset and then a wizard configure your terminal.
